i think halo: reach should have a map editor like valves hammer editor. exept you edit it on the computer and upload them to your xbox.

no, with hammer, you can actually make solid walls with different textures.

I'm delicious.

Look, computers and consoles don't mix. I've used Hammer, and it's way too complicated for console games. Far Cry 2 is as far as a console game should go with map editing.

Forge is enough for me when it comes to map edititng, and as was mentioned before, console games and map editing just do not mix.I would be perfectly happy if Reach did not have a full scale map editor.I would be content with some new Forge options and functions, perhaps some new stuff to place.I never feel the need to edit terrain or anything while playing a map. They are designed so superficial changes can be made and the game still remains stable and incorporates most custom changes.I would even be ok if the game had no new Forge tools, the addition of new maps to Forge would be enough,it would create so many more options. Therefore,I don't see any need for a map editor.Considering that you were blacklisted,it seems Bungie does not either.

HaloStriker214

I dont want a stupid fancy map editor like FarCry 2. I want it to stay as forge but have terrain tools, 90 degree snapping options, auto geomerge or interlock, and other tools. But I want each tool to be easy to use and understand what its purpose is. Sure the Far Cry 2 editor is amazing but without the physics of Halo, It falls flat. Keep Forge but make it better.
