Subject: New Gametype for Reach

As most of you know.. the Firefight gametype is new to ODST. And Im sure it will be a huge success.. cant wait to try it.

But why stop there? Halo: Reach should have a 1v1 gametype with a new type of AI. An AI that could be covenant.. could be Brute.. or could be Human. Set up the new 1v1 gametype as you would a Matchmaking game but create an enemy that acts like a gamer would. The ability to jump from level to level, crouch walk, pick up overshields, camo, equipment and such.. It could be done in the firefight style where each time you win a game to 10 lets say, the next opponent will have more armor, will start with better weapons, have quicker speed etc.. This would be great practice for Matchmaking all together and would be a lot of fun putting your wits up against Bungie's creations.

Opinions?

That's 9 e's.

In my opinion, 1v1 in Halo is kind of boring. There just aren't that many maps that are good for 1v1. Maybe you could get friends and do the exact same thing only with 4 AI players instead of 1?

Great idea.. as many people as are in your party.. have the equivalent number in AI opponents.

click it you know you want to

I think that there should be a game type similar to battlefields conquest game type.

Thus I refute thee

so basically turn halo into gears of war, when someone leaves an AI replaces him (which is by far the funniest thing i have seen since the AI is not very intelligent) and carries on with the game

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

I would like to see a gametype that forces players to use randomized species in the Covenant universe (like Left4Dead). Imagine, you start a game, and you are on the Covenant side. You are randomly chosen as a Hunter, your allies include 4 Grunts, 2 Jackals, and an Elite. On the Marine side, you see 4 Marines, 2 ODSTs, a Spartan, and a Cyclops (Like from Halo Wars).

Though it would be a whole lot cooler with more than 8v8.

that would be cool, and each person would have thier own AI enemy (meaning that they get to design them their own way) the AI would mainly want to go after its creator but if it runs into your team mate it would go after him instead and if he kills someonelse (non creator) it would go after its creator again.

Sexiest Muffin In The Factory.

I would like a base assault gametype

what does this trigger thing do again

good idea it would be even better if it was more than 1v1 like 4v4 instead. gears of war did it and they did a good job to so halo: reach can probably do it to

Well yeah.. I was just saying 1v1 so you could join without having to find friends to play with. Yeah you could have it up to 4v4 but use the Multiplayer maps already available on the disc. It could be fun. The enemies would need much better skills in running, jumping, shooting, etc.. more like facing a real human but its an AI.
