Halo ftw

I Just thought of an amazing twist in all of the halo stories, If ODST was set before The halo games (which its not), They could have made the Rookie turn out to be the Chief later on, that would be so awesomely coooooooooooooool, why didnt u think of that bunggggiiiiieeeeeeeee, guys i'm dissapointed in you :(:(

Why the hell are you looking at this? Get out.

And no group invites, you jerk. I'm not interested.

It would still make no sense.

Sci-fi Spartans were like ancient Spartans; trained from youth to kill things. They're strictly military. ODSTs are guys who volunteer.

ODST will still end out very good anyway..

Four shots, four kills, reload, repeat. This is the work of a sniper.

Said like an 8 year old.
No.
Spartans are taken at age 6, so no.
And honestly that would be kind of -blam!-, so no.

Owners of the Katana: A place for those who have a Katana or over 1000GS in Halo 3.

Somewhere out there... in an alternate reality... Marty decided to stay in the ad jingle business, bringing about an age of amazingly orchestrated Pampers commercials.

It would be very weird and wouldn't make any sense. By the time he was 14, Chief was already a SPARTAN, and by the looks of it, The Rookie looks at least 20 years old.

Yeah it wouldn't work because of Spartans being taking to train by the age of 6 so (There's another idea thrown away.)

Could be, if the Rookie was like, you know, six years old when he landed in New Mombasa.

Do people not understand MC is biologically enhanced?

That would require a total overhaul of canon.
Just so an addon can have a "WHAT A SURPRISE" ending.

He threw down a glove you made the mistake
Of picking it up now you're gone
The choosing of guns or fighting with swords
The choice of weapons is done
He'll tear you apart as soon as you start
You know you don't have a chance.

yes, some people understand that, maybe the Rookie becames a spartan III in the end of the game?

Wonder what Bungie have in store for use after Reach?

I know that everyone says "Spartans" as in the Spartans from the SPARTAN-II project like Master Chief, but what about the Spartans from the SPARTAN-III project, they we're volunteers. They we're turned into super soldiers and had armour that wasn't nearly as good as the MJOLNIR armour.

The AR is an awesome weapon, RESPECT IT AS SUCH!!!

people shouldnt just dismiss this idea striaght away, sure, it is a load of ----- but thats not the point.
the point is, that this person has thought about it, and given a valid theory, which might have been accepted if we didnt know where/when it was set.
Dis any of you know that the SPARTANS didnt always have MJOLNIR armor??? didnt think so...

No, it isn't a valid theory. There are so many obvious reasons why it isn't.

And yes, I "dis" know that. I'm guessing you just looked up a bit on the wiki.

If you want to prove a theory, learn a little on what you are trying to prove.
The SIIIs were recruited without a choice, since they had to keep it secret.
They were recruited when they were still children, they fought when they were 12. By ODST there are no new SIIIs being made, so even if they violated every part of the Spartan programme, they wouldn't make him into one.

The reason the Spartans are picked so specifically, is because certain genetical markers would increase their chance of living through the augmentation. It is unlikely the Rookie is one of those people, so he would be in a high-risk, expensive procedure.

The SPI armour still required the wearer to have the Spartan augmentations. They can't just put anyone in the suit, or they will break their bones once they move.

Yes. Excellent theory, not one piece of BS in it at all. Sir, I commend you.
