I'll have you know
that I've become
Indestructible!

In the past I've used scripture to reveal plot points in Halo 2 and Halo 3 before their releases.
I've made a couple threads in the past based off of Daniel 11, which have told of the covenant civil war, the death of Regret (and Mercy), and then a few particulars in Halo 3.

What I hope to see realized in ODST is one of the verses in Psalm 77.
Particularly verse 16, here is 16 through 20 to help with the context:
16 The waters saw you, O God,
the waters saw you and writhed;
the very depths were convulsed.

17 The clouds poured down water,
the skies resounded with thunder;
your arrows flashed back and forth.

18 Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind,
your lightning lit up the world;
the earth trembled and quaked.

19 Your path led through the sea,
your way through the mighty waters,
though your footprints were not seen.

20 You led your people like a flock
by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Before Halo 3 was released and all we had was the teaser trailer, I figured that the artifact on Earth was a portal. A lot of people did and were right in thinking so.
I went a step further and figured that the artifact used to be under a lot of water, like a sea.
Halo 3 went ahead and proved a lot in that department, too.
Here are some pic.s for you to see what I mean.

What I'm trying to establish is that there is a massive sea and the Covenant (or the artifact itself) evaporated a LOT of water in the process of getting to the artifact. I predict and am very much hoping to actually see the means to which the water is removed in ODST.

I always thought it was just evaporated by the plasma.

That's probably the case.
I am hoping that imagery they use (either in a cutscene or in-game) is as overt as the rest of the passage as it pertained to the level "The Storm".

Is there any particular reason that you believe it to be from Daniel 11 rather than any of the other verses? It's not a bad idea though...

Why does Bungie put us through such avid anticipation?

Same process they use to 'glass' a planet, but on a smaller scale.

This particular idea doesn't make me think of Daniel 11, I was sort of citing my previous ideas with that.

Daniel 11 seems to be a sort of guideline for how the sequels of Halo:CE were to be dictated.

You do know that the Bible is written to be able to relate to any topic right? (Don't make this into a religious war with me, I'm just making an obvious statement). $5 says that I can find a verse that sounds a lot like Johnson getting killed by the Monitor or even a verse that explains the monkeys on Sierra 117.

Remember, the "Secret of Sandtrap" thread was based on vague Bible verses.

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

True, but Halo's story line is a lot more religiously based than others.

Keep your $5 dollars.
I can quote a Bungie employee saying that the Bible is an influence on the story.
Check it.
ciber How did you get the idea for Halo?
Chris Butcher [...] as far as the story, it can be looked at as a biblical allegory. the parallels are stronger than you probably realise, because nobody outside of bungie has more than a corner of the big picture. and we only have two corners.
