This is based on Halo Knowledge and the "Picture/silloutte" thing on top.

Weapons in game
Assault Rifle-Probably the Halo:CE counterpart.
Battle Rifle-Or something like it. I'm hoping for Single Shot, Pistol power. And a sligtly more magnified scope.

Sniper Rifle-The Scope looks a lot different, more rounded. And a bit smaller. Perhaps slightly weaker but more bullets, higher ROF.

Heavy Machine Gun-This gun would still be First Person. It would be powerful, big, but probably very "Clumsy" as far as accuracy and silence goes. Also it would probably eat bullets like a fat person.

Combat Knife-You would still have two weapons, the Knife would be equipped by some means, perhaps holding the melee button down. it would be fast and deadly, however your weakness is not having a fire able weapon.

Gameplay
Gameplay I'm hoping is as epic as Halo could be. The best from Halo1, Halo2 and Halo3 but at the same thing nothing like them. It would be Halo and the enemies and such would look the same.

First off no to little Brutes. If they have Brutes then they should be un-armored, and treated as "Grunts". Elites should be the primary enemy in this game. Elites in Reach should be a lot more deadly, smarter, and more willed. Seeing how you will probably have Spartan team mates they would have to be worthy fighters OR the game would suck due to lack of a challenge.

A.I
Grunts-Less cowardly, 30%-60% more brave then Halo3. They would still be weak. However Reach can make them a challenge by making them braver and in bigger numbers. In Halo3 they can come in packs of 10 (aprox). Reach should have 15-20.

Jackals-Stronger shields. In Halo1 the shields were powerful, Halo2 and Halo3 they get too weak IMO. Make them fast, agile, bullet "dodgers". Make there shields a lot stronger. Also in Halo3 when you throw a grenade around a jackal they will smartly put there shield up HOWEVER still die most of the time Bungie should make them not die,instead loose there shield and be shocked then keep fighting.

Elites-A.I would be deadly, smart. These elites would work good in teams of alone. In BIG battles you would see squads of Elites working like true warriors. Alone or in small groups one or two Elites would give you a good fight (except maybe on Easy lol). But Heroic and Legendary one or two Elites would have to be bad ass. Giving covering fire, using grenades the right way.
Also one thing that should come back is the Halo2 Ultra/Zealot sword rage. Back Slash and One Hit Malee kill.

Brutes-Not much please. Brutes would still be smarter, but less powerful. They would have no leadership roles. Best to put them in the covenant ships has body guards to the Elite Commanders.

Drones-Don't care. Same as Halo3.

Hunters-Hunters would be the same. However a bit smarter on vehicles. Also would be nice to have more then one type of Hunter.
1-Anti Vehicle Hunter-Same weapon as Halo:CE. Fuel Rod Blast, can destroy a Tank in about 2-8 shots (depending how it hits, etc)

2-Anti Infantry Hunter-Halo2/Halo3 weapon. A beam of high intense energy. Can kill a Spartan in about 3-10 seconds of direct steam contact. On average the Tale would reach 6 seconds.

3-Anti-Air Hunter-Rare but deadly, they have a homing FRG. Slower ROF, same damage as Anti-Vehicle.

4-Hunter-Hunters would be seen inside covenant ships. They have no weapons, so they are pretty much beserk. Also having no Arm Cannon they would be a little faster at hitting you.

Mission Ideas
Since we aren't on Halo we can't really have "Find this map room" kinda missions. I think they should have THESE type of missions

1-Rescue-Rescuing Captain Keyes was a memorable moment in Halo1. Bring something like that back. Enemy captures someone and you and your men need to get them back. Hell they should have some "ToR" style mission down to the Night Time and Sniper start and I bet you NOBODY would complain.

2-Destruction-These are in Halo2 and Halo3 (and ODST). These missions would be you destroying some enemy base, or ship, or perhaps some ONI computer with info on Earhs location.

3-Cover Mission-Is somwhat like a rescue mission, but less specefic and larger. This would be like you and your Spartans protecting as many Marines/ODST as possible. Think of something like "Halo" from Halo1.

4-Stealth-These would be new. This would be like you are alone and you are outnumbered and outgunned. You need to get to your men, or to some point to contact your men. You will have to sneak by or fight an almost un-beatable battle. Easy or Normal would be easy to win however Heroic and Legendary it would be almost impossible. [how much?]...Think of Halo Legendary with all the skulls on when you only have a plasma pistol....that kinda hard.

Yes. It would be like a mix of some Sword but shorter. Energy Swords would have longer lunge, higher damage, but less stealthy. Combat Knife would be a little weaker, no lunge, but very quite.

I Dont Think Visabilty Would Matter For The Knife Cause If Someone Sees You With No Weapon They Can Assume Your Using The Knife...

Love your enemies...it pisses them off.

All of these ideas are great, but there is one thing i absolutely want bungie to include...and thats the ability to run. in the books we hear spartans can run at 56 km/h... I WANT TO DO THAT!!! i hope they keep the whole feel of halo but really make you feel like a super soldier and being as agile and skilled as spartans as opposed to constantly shooting and only shooting.. be advised i aint complainin just wanna be able to run....

Why do people that like stealth play Halo? A game with a wieldable rocket launcher is not stealth. Halo 3 ODST is halfway in between.

Just because you have a RL doesn't mean you can't be stealth. In RL we have loud ass -blam!- weapons and we still have guys that are stealthy.

Visability really just means how easy can you be spotted. Like in a dark place enemies won't see you or barely see you...with a Sword they will.
