I was thinking what if the multiplayer was based on different classes. In the picture of the 5 spartans we have Heavy machine gunner, Medic, Assault, Stealth class, Sniper. This game could possibly be just like Killzone 2. Please discuss. Provide why you think it would or wouldnt be a class based game.

Wayne Jarvis, Attorney at Law; I have a responsibility to tell you that there is no candy in this office.

I'm not sure if they would go too far with it, like Team Fortress, but back in the days of Halo 2, I had hoped Halo 3 would have some customizable traits. Like, you can reduce your armor a little bit, and it would make you faster and improve your aim, but with the cost of being weaker. Obviously you'd only be able to make small changes though.

These days, I'd rather not have that.

Change for America! Obama '08

It is kind of hard to provide any proof one way or another since basically nothing is known, but I think that if Bungie wanted a class based game like this it would make more sense to do it on the third, unknown game they are producing now. It makes more sense to me to leave Halo similar to how it is and expand what they do in a new series.

The thing is Class based games are getting great ratings. So why not make the change now.

Because it's really dangerous to take risks when you're in such a large spotlight like Halo is.
