Halo 3: ReV Eskimo

eventually ill be back on Reach and CEA. i enjoy gaming for fun, im a great player and i enjoy smoking while i play. so any chill players feel free to add me. I in NO way support halocharts; old username.

i doubt it. they know who their fans are, they know what we will pay.you either buy the game for 60 bucks or you dont.companies only have 1 feeling; capitolist greed. they want money and they know they can get it. they will get it september 22nd when they sell as many copies as they will.

i think its worth 60 bucks but to each his own.

and how!

No. It has all the content of a full game, save a dedicated multiplayer, and on top of that it includes a mode brand new to the franchise as well as an invitation to the Reach Beta.

true for 60 bucks you get...

1.the campaign expansion
2.new achievements to unlock recon armor and earn gamerscore
3.DLC content for halo 3; aka new maps
4.Reach beta

so its quite package.

after all it is said to only have 3-5 hours of campaign play and 3 new maps and a new multiplayer mode

Where are you getting your estimated campaign hours from? I haven't heard anything definitive at all. But it's a full game that has a campaign that I'd imagine will be longer than what you're expecting.

how i reacted to the Halo 3 Beta needler!

Posted by:mauricio14
its ok i used it 25% of the time but when someone used it on me thats when i started calling him a n00b and a modder and how i was going to give him negative feedback you sissy needler user.

I remember when Brian was showcasing ODST to a game website and the journalist asked "we know it is up to Microsoft but how much will ODST be?"
SO don't Blame Bungie or Stosh, Blame Microsoft.

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

Bungie's campaigns aren't the best.

Second, the cut Halo 3 missions should have been released with the legendary edition.

3rd, Firefight may not have Matchmaking, or a significant number of maps.

4th, Bungie said it would be less than $60.

First off Halo 3:ODST take place during Halo 2. It is not a cut mission from Halo 3's campaign.
Who cares if it does not have MM or a lot of maps. it is still fun.
And last Bungie said "it does not feel like a $60 game" not that it was not going to be $60.
Get your facts straight.

I wasn't talking about the Campaign, dickwad. There are cut missions from Halo 3 included in ODST.

I care if it DOESN"T have much content, since the price is based on the level of content in the final package. What if the campaign was 10 minutes? Would you care then?

Bungie said they were making sure that this EXPANSION would cost less than $60.

Bungie never said they would make sure of that. They have no choice as to how much it costs. That's Microsoft's department with marketing. Bungie just developed it. I think it's worth $60 actually. There is a quite a bit of content for what was said to be an "EXPANSION" to quote from the above text.

Exactly. If you don't think it's a reasonable price just don't pay it.

Dickwad really? what a sorry way to say you are lonely and need a hug.
I'm sorry if I am missing something but missions are in campaign. Where would they be Multiplayer?
Campaign could be 10 seconds and ODST would still sell great. Because it is a Halo game.
I am sure Bungie were trying to make sure but Microsoft is to much. But what do you care? you're lonely and are in need of a hug.

i'm awesome

I still happen to think it's a full game, in a sense, it's just more of what most of us have. Look on the bright side.

The product will ship with 2 discs.

There's a new campaign which shaping up to best my expectations, which also has a free roaming component. And there will be Firefight, sure to be the best thing to happen to Halo since Sandbox (in a general sense).

And then there's the whole multiplayer package, with all 24 maps, a pleasure to those not keeping up with the DLC (me) and those who lost/sold Halo 3 because they thought they were all done (also me).

Not a total loss and lots of worth to be had. The money seemsokay to me and hey, I trust Bungie tried.

ya i know there is another topic about this but there is over 800 replies so it wouldnt be read. Anyways this probly wont work but i was hoping if enough people agreed Halo ODST would be priced lower. after all it is said to only have 3-5 hours of campaign play and 3 new maps and a new multiplayer mode. at most this should be $30, instead of being the same price as halo 3. so i hope this will work and microsoft will realize they are farming their supporters and lower the price. thanks

Get a job.
