In firefight is it true that over time/waves the skulls start to activate?

If so does the blind skull activate?

yes, the skulls activate over time. longer you stay in, the more that activate.

so if in firefight mode the blind skull turns on at any point you are not buying the ENTIRE game? i guess thats your choice.im buying it. if you truly dont like the idea of the blind skull being a factor in the firefight mode than done play the firefight mode.

you should just have the option to turn them on when you start.. I hate all the skulls.

like the one that requires you to melee attack to recharge your health. dumbest idea i've ever heard of.

and people saying 'if you dont like the skull don't play with it' .. yeah, so they turn on automatically. that means we dont really have an option. :(

I am...whimsical today.

It wasn't clear (at least to me) whether all the skulls would be part of the selection or just the ones that effect your enemies / the difficulty.
I'd find it hard to imagine that one round would be ruled by the 'IWHBYD' Skull, though it may be possible.
It may also be possible to choose what skulls are able to be activated.

The Blind, Cowbell, Grunt Birthday Party, and IWHBYD skulls are activated via the Firefight lobby, the rest alternate randomly.

I don't think so, because there are going to be stats recorded for Firefight, so it would unbalance your stats.

Too lazy to link it but there a screenshot of the Firefight hud in Bungie.net. All the skull symbols are lined up to the right, I think, vertically, and the skulls that are active will light up.

Gawd, I hate the Blind skull. That and the Black Eye skull just piss me off.

Not really. Just make sure you know where the reticule is and get used to it staying there. Then when you don't have it just aim for where it usually is which is in the very middle of the screen.

Non-Playable Charater

I hate when the Blind skulls makes your gun disappear. Makes no sense. I could take the loss of HUD and everything, but this way it is just stupid.

Although, I doubt it will be turned on in Firefight, it might be something you could Opt for, though.

For the last time its TURRETS not TORRENTS. A TORRENT is either a peer to peer file sharing protocol or a violently fast stream of water. A TURRET is a self-contained weapons platform housing guns and capable of rotation. And TURRENT isn't even a word.

From what I've seen, the silver skulls are activated separately. I know that there is an option to activate the silver skulls before hand. I haven't seen anything to suggest that silver skulls are part of normal firefight.

Yeah, I'm almost positive that you have the OPTION to turn on silver skulls (Blind, IWHBYD, etc.) before you start the game.

I like the Black Eye skull. That coupled with the Thunderstorm, and the silver skulls that aren't Blind, make for more fun gameplay :)

Blind fails though. At the very least, show the gun and arms.
