Im Canadian Eh!

Hey, shouldn't we be fighting elites? This game takes place before the Elites and brutes split up, and there were still a lot on the ground when they jumped. I guess its to early to say, because we only seen a few fights in the game, but i think there should be squads of elites.

I have to say that im really tired fighting brutes, i think bungie kinda should not have left it with the whole elite thing, even if i still like the ending of halo 3 and all.

if knowledge is power and power corrupts, isn't knowledge therefore dangerous?
Black Tower

nope.
2 reasons:
1. all that could got evacuated to help regret on delta halo.
2. they were on the ground when the ship jumpes- explosion equivilent to a large bomb.

Two makes there more than speakers.

The rookie was asleep six hours after. I'm sure they would've left by then.

Nope, because concidering ODST takes place 6 hours after Regret left Earth, the "change of guard" would have already taken place. So by that time, the Brutes would already have taken over.

The chance of the bomb taking out ALL of the elites, and highly unlikely, but even still, The elites would still be in the battle, they don't split up until after regret was killed. and even then, in halo 2, you had to fight both, It was only when "Shipmaster" decided to help the humans in halo 3.

took out the buildings didn't it?
elites: smaller and weaker than a building. even with fancy sheilds.
and as stated above. 6 hours later, they would've left by then.

I guess, I would like to see you fight Elites in at least one of the newer Halo games.
