Reach will have MP. For one thing since this is not the same as "Halo1, 2, 3 or ODST" I think that Reach should allow more players. Would be awesome to play 10 v 10 battles, or 20 v 20 etc. As long as it's not laggy as Dial Up.
Anyway MAP wise heres some general ideas
Campaign blocks
This is simply a part of a campaign mission turned into a MP level. Similar to Halo2 or Halo3 but a lot more like the mission, just parts blocked off and new weapons and vehicle placements
Space Ships
We need some good space ship maps. I think it would be awesome to play in "Pillar of Autum" like the Engine Room, or part of the "Warthog Run Area". Or the Bridge, or IF the MP has enough players the entire ship (that we played on)
Forge
Would be a mistake not to have some ADVANCED form of Forge with Halo:REach, But that's another topic to write about at another time. Have 3 maps made for Forge. One Small, One Medium and one Large.
Remakes
Remake CLASSIC Halo Maps, Chiron, Damnation, Blood Gulch, Original Sidewinder, Hang Em high, HeadLong, ETC ETC. Who cares if Reach might not have a Halo if the Map is good remake it. It could make the same appeal to a lot more Halo Fans.
Options
1-Day Night
2-Fog Rate (0% as in none, up to 100% which is barely visible)
3-Sky Box (Similar to Day or Night. You can have cloudy dark, or starry nights, or pitch black moonless or mooned (word?) ones
