It was great. They gave us plenty of information, but not too much so that we could get too familiar with the game before release. I'm really hyped for this. It looks like it won't disappoint me at all.

I'm sorry.

At the press conference, Halo 3: ODST looked like crap. Seriously. I think doing a public demo of the game and limiting it to 5 minutes was kind of a bad move. I liked what I saw bu it didn't do the game justice. Bungie should have just done a longer Trailer and announce that they will be the Firefight demo and then show Reach's trailer and done.

The demos they gave to IGN, 1UP, Gamespot and even just on the floor did the game SO much more justice than the press conference did.

Get in the flask!

i wanted to see more fire fight... well i actually want to just watch the vid instead of from some bad camera angle which makes it hard to judge what the shooting and feel will be like

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?"

I thought it was awesome and i'm ready to play it!

Halo got way more coverage than other games, and Microsoft probably limited the time they were allowed to showcase the game anyway, so I think they did a good job. And remember, they displayed two games, not just one.

It was awesome. Can't wait for both ODST and Reach.

True. The Reach trailer took up some of ODST's Demo Time. But, all the more reason why Bungie should have left the demos to th live demos as the press conference did no justice to the game. IGN's and 1UP's Demos for example give such a in depth look at all the features.

I hate you so much...

But not as much as I hate the internet.

I'm sure it was great if you were there and got to play fire fight... but for us chilling in front of our xboxs & computers i think it was a little lack luster. A little deeper in to the details of the mechanics of the campaign would've been nice, in my opinion.
