" I will seek vengeance upon those who have betrayed my family, and uncover a conspiracy bigger that I could have imagined. I am Ezio Auditore di Firenze. I am an Assassin"

If you can recall certain " Super Cop" games that had the name Crack in it then you rembember that there were Ads in the game. For cars and other stuff. If you are willing to set aside your differences for ads then we could let ads in Halo 3: ODST. I'm not saying full on every wall. Maybe like everyonce in a while a billboard in the distance will have a brief ad for Pepsi. Companies would pay big money for these ads which in turn will possibly reduce the cost of ODST down to about 45 bucks. What do you think.

Also Bungie could throw in a free DLC feature after a month for an ' OFF" switch for the ads so you don't have to see them.

I think thats a horrible idea.

When Bungie told us that ODST would be cheaper than a regular game, they weren't expecting to fit as much in to it as they have done. The Campaign may be shorter than Halo 3's but it also comes with Firefight. Campaign, Firefight, Multiplayer compatible with Halo 3, I think its worth the full price.

Multiplayer is gonna be the same as Halo 3. That's still the same feature. We are only getting FireFight, New shorter campaign and Mythic Maps.

In my eyes, I see it more as new Campaign+Firefight+Halo 3-Halo 3 Campaign=Halo 3: ODST. Or for the special edition same thing +$40 controller.

Not really, if you had Xbox Live then you could have/ Would have bought the Maps already. Sure Heroic is free but but you would have spent about 20 bucks already for Legendary and Mythic. You cannot get that cash back. Bungie also forced you to buy it. " You need all maps to play on this playlist." We are paying an extra amount for maps we already bought.

No one ever forced you to play those DLC required playlists. You chose to buy choosing to purchase the DLC.

Some people haven't made that choice, and are not being treated to the full Halo multiplayer experience that they have never had access to. For those of use who already have all of the DLC, now we have several gigabytes more space on our hard drives and 3 maps that we haven't had before. Combine that with 2 brand new campaign modes and a Beta, Halo 3 ODST, even for us, is appropriately priced (though that has little to do with how much it actually cost to make the game but rather how much we (IE not just you) are willing to spend on it.)

Matchmaking is over half of the game. Bungie could easily make all playlists require all maps, there's no regulations against it.
When I choose to buy extra - it should give me extra, not take away from the original.

On topic: Pepsi in 2550? No. All commercials make me hate the advertised item more than want it.

Heh, in-game ads. While killing a couple of Grunts I see a sign with Coca Cola on it. Talk about ruining the feelin' of being in the future kickin alien butts.

i think it would be a bad idea,

i don't want to see modern applications into futuristic games.

i'm pretty sure 500 years into the future, pepsi will be a little different.

The campaign can be up to 10 hours if you want, the city is free roam, so you can make it as long as you want.
