This would be a good time to point out that the US Government seriously did consider nuking the moon during the Cold War as a show of force. Project A119.

"A large explosion on the Terminator line would put the sun behind the mushroom cloud, making the explosion visible with the naked eye from Earth."

Then the US decided they'd just send in Neil Armstrong to land on it. Neil Armstrong - the one man on the earth that was considered a suitable replacement for a nuclear missile.

OK, I think this might be pretty interesting. Let's say Bungie makes a campaign for the UNSC, and a campaign for the Covenant. I remember people complaining about how Halo 3's campaign was really short, and this is Bungie's chance to make it a lot longer for those that really enjoy the story.

We already know the UNSC's side to it, why not figure out the Covenant's?

I think it would be pretty cool. What do you think?

'Utrinque Paratus' - Ready for Anything

Well, they'd be few missions for each, it would actually shorten the campaigns.

There are two things on this forum that piss me off;
Idiots and group invites.
What's even worse, is that I can never seem to get away from either of them ¬_¬

Umm... no. That doesn't really make any sense...

He means, create one full campaign and then make another, the same length that follows similar events either seen in game or in cutscenes for the other side.

In my opinion, thats a good idea, I actually enjoyed the H2 campaign because you wasn't stuck with the MC all the time, though I was a little miffed that you never fought Marines but you still killed Elites.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. I think it would be fun.

I'd like it ONLY if it wasn't force how Halo 2 was. I enjoyed Halo 2 story but I'd rather have it where I pick which campaign and then go through till I finish then start the other one. I hated it near the end when you where switching between Chief and Arbiter every level cause I was get so interested in one then get pulled back to the other suddenly.

Whoops my mistake, I thought you meant two half campaigns.

You can't outrun Death for ever.

But you can make the bastard work for it.

HALO 3

This might actually be in the works because if you look in halo reach image above you can an elite there. It might be like halo 2 where you switch person, or it could be like halowars where you have a cutscene for the convenant but the story is all UNSC (which i thought was really good idea).

The fires are burning, I'm fire, never tire
Slay warriors in the forests, and on hire

Bungie wouldnt do this, if you think about halo 2, when you played as the arbiter.. did you ever kill a marine?

Theres a clear line

I think it was because the elites are much more stronger than humans.
