Now we know the game will be a FPS as Joe Staten said at the announcement of Halo: Reach at E3.
This is not a discussion of what Bungie will do but more of if it was up to you what gameplay would you like to see that would make the game better and fun for you.
Go ahead and vote and leave comments of why you think the gameplay you picked would add more value or fun to the game.
Again these options are not rumors or assumptions of what you think the game will be but what you would like the game to be.
For some that may not understand the choices the options are below with details or what kind of games have ahad that gameplay and benefits or each gameplay.
OPTIONS
Only one perspective throughout the game- This will be just like Halo: CE and Halo 3 in which your Master Chief and only Master Chief throughout the game. If you want just to play as one main character (Spartan) and not switch people and you can only control him and no one else then this is the option for you.
Many perspectives switching throughout the game- This will be just like Halo 2 and ODST in which you play as different characters and get to see more of the story and effects it has on the game's characters. If your the kind of person that wants to see the story from different eyes and play the game. This option however does not allow you to pick your characters but rather Bungie makes it where you have to play as these characters to continue the story line.
Option of choosing which perspective from the start- Based on the banner, there are 5 soldiers (presumably Spartans). This gameplay will allow you from the start of the game to pick one character with different characteristics and equipment that you will have to play. So say you pick Linda (or far right soldier with sniping weapon) based on information in the book she was quick, a loner and a great sniper. So in the game you will have a sniper as your primary weapon and a pistol as an secondary. So she will be a lot quieter and quicker then maybe some of the other characters which will allow you to beat levels quickly. But say you a destructive kind of guy and you pick Sam (some say Will) [far left soldier] and his primary weapon in the start of the mission is a turret/flame thrower/rockets or some other heavy weapon and then a weaker secondary weapon. His game style may be different b/c he's bigger and slower but has more firepower. If your a fan of play-back value this may be your option because you can choose and play different characters then when you first played it.
Squad Base- If your a fan of Rainbow Six or Ghost Recon you are familiar with this gameplay in whcih you control you squad of where to move, commands like defend, attack, regroup etc. Now it won't be like these games b/c they are 3rd person but it will be rather FPS in which you use your hud and look at places to move them and give them commands. So if you like to have more control of your men and give them orders this is your type of gameplay.
Other- Write your own gameplay you would like to see, like a combination of gameplays mention or have it where you can pick your character and each character has a different storyline then another character.
