Does anyone know if Halo 2 will also be on PC? If so, when will it come out? Just wanna know if I'm gonna have to buy an x-box just for Halo 2.

yep, your gunna ned an XBOX friend, no plans to port it to PC yet (from what weve all heard), and even if they did plan on porting it you will need like a godly system to even run it on basic settings, plus the fact that it would be out about a year or so AFTER h2 is already released..

You wouldnt need that good of a PC to run Halo 2... The Xbox has a 1998 graphics card... Halo 2 will have some of the best graphics on consoles, but not even close to the graphics of PC games like HL2 and Doom 3

Take it from me eric. I am a PC fanboy, well not really, but I love the PC's. Xbox version of Halo is about a bazillion times better than its PC counterpart. Everything just comes together better. If you truly want to experience halo, and its sequel, get an xbox, you wont regret it. Before you know it you wont even know your using a controller.

Once Halo2 has is a success which it will be, im sure they will port it, but it will take a looooooooooonnnng time if its anything like the first one.

Think of it this way, xbox are only like $250 here, which is alot cheaper then a computer. You dont have to wory about performance probs, the graphics are always at max, and you can play and a nice big flat screen TV if you got one. Oh and lets not forget the Co-op, which is just about the best part of the Halo games. Plus you get the cool trigger and rumble effect from the controller...........who would want to play PC Halo after that? Not me anymore.

Edit: I really hope they do port it to PC later though. Unfortunately M$ being cheap like they always are arent going to make Xbox2 backwards compatible. Which means In a few years when you xbox is at the end of its life, you wont be able to go back and play good old Halo and stuff. The only way to play them again will be on PC.
