I just saw a video of the first cut-sene where Romeo hits the Rookie in the face with the butt of his sniper and i noticed that when the Rookie was in the pod and Dutch handed him his weapon that right after Dutch gave him the SMG that Dutchs face-plate came over his face digitaly! So its not a real face-plate! Its digital! ( weird )

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?"

Where did you see that??
Link please.

PEANUT-BUTTER SLAP!

A digital faceplate would be literally useless. His faceplate was at 0% polarization, then went to 100.

if knowledge is power and power corrupts, isn't knowledge therefore dangerous?
Black Tower

nope, they fold and unfold.
or it's see through glass, but activating the HUD makes it glow.
Dare did the same thing, have a pic
i've seen in other games and shows that they had visors slid up and down, in and out.

spartans can do the same thing but theirs can't go clear. it's in the halo books

  • 06.11.2009 1:35 PM PDT

Yes, they can remove the tint. In the Halo books, there was a part where Kurt un tinted his visor so that Dr Hasley could see his face.

Think of it as the transition sunglasses / eye glasses.

They currently make clear glass, which is more like an on-demand LCD, that turns opaque when a electrical current is applied. In the case of the helmets visor, when engaged, such offers eye protection, glare protection, enhanced night time vis, heads up display features (compass, ammo, etc..).

Duracell.
I don't keep going and going and going and...
but i Start, and just don't Stop.

So what if the saxophone is black?
it has better tone the the gold one.
damn straight i play Jazz.

the visors are always 'closed' but have different polarization levels. at 0% they are clear, at 100% they go opaque to the outside, and have the HUD activate inside
