Subject: What Halo 3 was missing.

If you read any complaint about Halo 3 it almost always had to do with Campaign mode. On ign the reviewer said the one thing stopping it from recieving a perfect score was the campaign.

Halo Reach needs to improve the AI namely the AI of what ever allies you have fighting with you. In Halo 3 you wold see the Arbiter shooting at walls and acting worthless. Instead, if you are going to have 4 other spartans with you in campaign, as shown in picture. They need to amp up the AI on them and intensify the action.

Now Halo 3 did have some epic moments and some really fun levels like The Ark and The Covenant. But the levels were inconsistant; there were some not so fun levels like The Flood, which tried and failed to give you the same feeling as The Library.

How awsome would it be if your AI allies were semi competant and you could actually depend on them for support. Bungie could make the campaign a hell of alot more intense. Which it should be, this is after all the battle of Reach. Yes I know there is co-op but you dont always have people who will play with you.

Now I enjoyed Halo 3 campaign but I have to say Halo 2 and Halo CE had much better campaigns. Who doesnt remeber The Library, and laying the pwn on the prophet.

I know multiplayer is the main focus and thats fine. Hell I have put over 500 hours into multiplayer. But that doesnt mean an awsome and epic campaign cant be made.

I'm with you 100%. I think Halo 3 was missing a lot of what Halo 2 and CE were made of. There was nothing to stunning or epic about it. The story line and plot pretty much died out after the second or third level. I'm hoping Halo: Reach will be 5 times better.

I thought the story was fantastic the first time through, but there isn't much to keep you playing after i beat it once. Now, me and a few friends just compete for highscores sometimes. I really hope Reach, and ODST, have great campaigns.
