1-3: I understand the lag issue, which has been prevalent since these are non-dedicated server based games. However, my discrepancy is with the amount of lag. The time it takes for a grenade to be thrown, and land, and explode is at least about a couple seconds (unless its thrown directly at your feet), I simply feel this amount of lag can be limited.
4: This serves two purposes. One, if the idle player is killed by the guardians, it doesn't count as a kill for the other team. I also think this would prevent kids from camping in a corner waiting for you to run by.
5. This is true, but assuming this will be a prequel, it should go back to the H:CE grenade setup, and there likely won't be shield doors.
6. Not something permanent, 24 hours. You are responsible for your account.
7. I have no issues with luck, it needs to happen and it makes for great moments, but it happens far to often to my liking for it to be cool and surprising anymore, it's just frustrating.
8: Based on the maps that I played the majority of the time, Damnation, Chillout, and a couple others (I wasn't an MLG player for H:CE), the pistol still widely used, but the shotgun was more powerful at close range, and the SR was more powerful at distance. The melee system was also the best and most effective of the three games, I feel.
9. You are a nice person :-)
10. I think this is the same as my random nade argument, its luck that happens far to often. The "sweep snipe" was introduced in H2, and it stuck to a lesser extent in H3. Even decent players can swipe snipe, which I do think is just luck.
1-3. Hopefully Bungie can do something about this but I doubt it will completely go away.
4. Well, aren't they just going to spawn again? It doesn't do anything. Also, camping, whether you like it or not, is part of the game.
5. That's true, hopefully they take out shield doors.
6. Oh, okay. Well maybe.
7. Maybe you're just really unlucky. On average it's pretty rare.
8. Yes, Halo: CE was well balanced although the pistol was able to kill from every range. Also, a lot of the maps had opened spaces and long lines of sight to fit the pistol's range.
9. I know.
10. It's more skill than luck. Also, how can you tell if your enemies shot you by luck or skill? You can't, but from my experience it takes a lot of skill to do something like that consistently.
