Subject: How can ODSTs carry turrets like spartans?

<Turrets>
-ODSTs cannot jump as high or run as fast as spartans
-even when spartans carry turrets their speed is decreased by half and they cant jump
-ODSTs are physically weaker than spartans

<Gravity Hammer>
-A Spartan flies back when he hits the hammer an ODST would just soar through the sky

<Dual Wielding>
-If ODSTs can carry heavy turrets then they can dual wield

Oh dang! That man just ordered breakfast in the middle of my rap song!

<Gameplay>
When we're talking video games, it's better than realism.

While there's some sort of basis in reality, for a video game, things are changed and set primarily according to how the developer wants the game to be played. Master Chief can flip Scorpions but the recoil of an SMG throws him off. How? It's just a gameplay issue.

Turrets Overall it's for gameplay
Spartans hold the turrets funny in my opinion and that could easily be what is hindering them.
Turrets may be alot lighter with less recoil in 500 years to the point where ODSTs can carry them

Gravity hammer
Maybe it has something to do with the hammer messing with gravity on a half ton spartan that causes gravity to affect heavier objects more than lighter ones
you know cause heavier = more gravity and gravity hammers can like mess with gravity (also possibly making themselves light enough for ODSTs to use.
I really have no explanation for that one you got me.

dual wield
turrets = strength
dual weild = dexterity
They would have absolutely no accuracy when firing 2 guns at a time and to reload 2 guns simultaniously with any kind of speed requires chief like reflexes.

I.SEE.YOU.RECLAIMER.

1) Im glad they can rip off turrets, because that makes the game more fun for me, and a little easier in Firefight (possibly).

2)Gravity Hammer doesnt have to fling ODST into the air. We've never seen an ODST use one, so how do we know what will happen?

3) Dual Weilding (as much as I want it) isnt exactly great since this game is sorta stealthy, and if I were an ODST, im pretty sure my are would get tired from dual weilding weapons for a long time. As a spartan, probably not (not saying that the ODSTs cant dual weild because of this, but thats my explanattion)

I'm going to invade your heart like a barn swallow high on milk chocolate and grandma love.

Fairness is only possible within the limited powers of man. Elsewhere, there is only chance.

Thus I refute thee.

B/c this is a video game, and it is fun to carry turrets. Keep it simple, not too realistic, sheesh... :)

Die Huh .. SPARTANS NEVER DIE Fool!

If ODSTs can hold one turret then chief should be able to dual wield turrets lol

mmm i dont know

Well, me personally, it would be cooler to pick up a jackal shield than rip off a turret.

Here is the secret how....
they use their hands and arms!

They are trying to make the ODSTs like a realistic Military force. In an elite military force you don't see people running around with two guns. Then again its just a game.
