I was reading a different post about the needler animation and I got to thinking. Dangerous, I know. Anyhow...the needles (ammo) for the needler protrude from the weapon. If one were to say...crack a covie in the chest with it wouldn't it be interesting if the needles pop out and stick in him/her? (And an explosion ensues). Of course, you'd want to high tail it away to avoid the reprucussions. That'd make meleeing with that weapon a whole lot more enjoyable I think. Any thoughts on that or any other weapon meleeing? (Besides the sword please, that's a little played out by now).

Yeah great! It would be so nice to bash an Elite, then look at him, half unconscience screaming with guts and blood everywhere and then see him fall to the ground with needles through his stomach...

That's not exactly what I had in mind. I meant that you could directly stab an elite (or other baddie) with the needles via melee and then have them explode just like if you had shot them. It would be more effective than just throttling him/her with the gun repeatedly.

also it would b great if the needles did explode cause i no a few playes who like to smack a person in back of the head and hump the dead bodie so ya that b cool if they exploded
