An advanced fully customizable look sensitivity control. An option screen for look sensitivity adjustments that displays a small circle in the center. Then a somewhat larger circle around that one and continue on until you have a display of four total circles. This creates four individual zones within these circles that could each be programmed with a differen't look sensitivity setting.
Zone #1 is the zone that surrounds the joystick when its in the nuetral position. Zone # 4 is the outer zone when the joystick is pushed as far as it would go. There would be two programmable zones in between these also. So you could program them progressively like zone #1=3, #2=4, #3=5, #4=7.
It could be useful for scenarios like this. While shooting an enemy from far away you may want your look sensitivity to be lower, because if it is too high it can be more difficult to keep the reticule on them while they are moving and jumping around at a distance because each little push of the joystick moves it a lot. On the other hand if you are in close combat you want a higher sensitivity speed, because if it is too low you can't spin quite fast enough to keep the reticule on the enemy effectively. Even if you push the joystick as far as you can in that direction, your turn remains slow. Inevitably you are forced to choose a sensitivity somewhere in the middle and it becomes somewhat of a handicap. Consequently your not at your best when an enemy is either close or far away, your forced to be almost at your best all the time.
If a player could program these four differen't look sensitivity zones to thier liking, it could make the game much more fun for them. For example if your in close combat and need to turn quickly but your look sensitivity is only 3 in zone # one. Just push the joystick over as far as you can in the enemies direction, as soon the joystick enters the outer circles fourth zone, where you have programmed a look sensitivity of 7. You then spin very quickly and melee your enemy. After he is down you are suddenly being hit by an enemy far away. No problem, take aim and move your joystick in short moves within zone # one where your look sensitivity is 3 making it easier to hold the enemy in your sights.
Just an idea. Let the bashing commence.
