and on the level metropolis i saw truths ship with the tower that the odsts launch from

and i was thinking did bungie intend to do this game a long time ago

because of all the detail that put into the ship and the tower

Its Bungie...I don't know what else to say...first ODST, then suddenly Reach pops out of nowhere. then perhaps Halo:The Grunts Side of the Story (Commentary?)

I mean games may be fun, but there is a lot of hard work and effort put into them. They are very serious buisness. (Making them, that is)

The ODST's launch from a ship orbiting above the planet (or maybe a space station), but not the space elevator. So I expect that the great detail is just because Bungie wanted to make a great game.

yes but it just seemed so detailed for something your never going to go near

You could say that for every other background texture or far away geometry in the Halo series.
