"Dear Bungie.net, we regret being stubborn bastards, we regret coming to this forum, and we most definitely regret that Darth Kooky blew up our raggedy-ass opinion!"

I was kind of bored so I was looking at the info on personnel and looked at Mickey.

Read this: "Mickey LOVES being an ODST. More than he did being a pilot. More than he did being a crew chief on a Pelican gunship. He is no stranger to battle and has a fair number of notches in his belt, but he is unique amongst his ODST brothers in that he has never seen absolute ruination visited upon a human colony-world by the Covenant."

Mickey = Former Pilot/Crew Chief on a Pelican. Possible Pelican-flying mission as Mickey?

That'd be cool :)

It's like if the Fanta girls and the the cast of Girls gone Wild participated in a remake of Labyrinth that takes place in a crackhouse version of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory where the sugar is cocaine, the candy is crystal meth, and the chocolate is LSD*takes a breath*and the goblin king became the gummy bear king.

I was actually thinking about that and thought it made sense. Maybe as a means to escape from the city.

Then I realized, that it probably won't happen and instead, they'll give him a Hornet for some mission.

I did. There's a mod of sorts you can use on Halo 2 to fly one. It's great fun.

No one likes negativity. It is not a fail but mere speculation. I am only saying it is a possibility as I have no idea whether or not it is in the game (I doubt it but I'm ever hopeful).

you can fly freaking dinosaurs in those mods. Dude, you can fly X wings. Pelicans are the last thing you'd wanna take for a spin.

Well at least have Mickey and The Rookie escape to somewhere in the city in the Pelican. That would still be cool.

Why does Bungie put us through such avid anticipation?

That would be awesome.

Maybe so, but now we can play as an ODST that knows how to drive one!!! Now that I think about it...so does the Chief...it would still be freakin' sweet if we actually got the chance to do something with the Pelican. I'm seeing some pretty big things from ODST. If they don't deliver, oh well. I'll still enjoy the game :)...awwwww I lost the game :(

Sorry, but I gotta say it.

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

Eh, it'd be kind of funny. Watching the Pelican, there just seemed to be something about it that said it was extremely heavy. (I'm not a retard, lol)

Could you explain what you meant to say? Elaborate please.

Yeah. But they havent told us everything about the campaign. It's still quite possible.

Self-proclaimed genius.
Roam the streets with a sign, "will love for false hope."

Unless we get Battlefield: Halo, there better not be anything of that scope. Especially in ODST. The scale of the game is just far too small even for a Hornet.

And my army of brothers went over the hilltops, drenched in blood we may be.... but fighting is all left to me....together with my army of brothers...down we fall....darkness in all..through hell...

Maybe Dare got out of her pod and is in trouble, you and the rest of the squad agree to get her out of the situation in return for information on why she is with your squad? Just a guess.

I'm going to invade your heart like a barn swallow high on milk chocolate and grandma love.

Fairness is only possible within the limited powers of man. Elsewhere, there is only chance.

Thus I refute thee.

Yea, that would be extremely cool. =)

What is with people and pelicans? Seriously, this is getting a little annoying. I've only had to hear this for a year and I'm already tired of it. I'm not trying to flame or troll but this is getting a little tiresome. Enough pelican threads, please, I beg of you.

What's not to like about pelicans? They are moving gunships that can carry 10 marines and they look pretty cool. Its just one of those things, after a pelican drops off a squad of marines and flies away you've never just said, Awesome!
