Subject: "We lost our bird!" Could this be from somewhere?

Well today I went back to the trailer and herd "we lost our bird!" Now in the Fall of Reach the Spartans Pelican was kinda of destroyed! Could this be from one of the SPARTANS? I would tell you when he said that but I cant find what time it was. I' update it when I find out the time. One more thing. If it was one of the SPARTANS then we've already found out what one of the SPARTANS sound like! So? What do you think it could be?

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

Eh... I think it was just extemporaneous battle chatter.

I'm not saying it is but When I heard it I thought it was something. It could just be some other Pelican pilot?

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Maybem but I think it was probably just for effect.

During the trailer, the person on the radio rose their voice.

Could this mean that the Spartans will be able to shatter bones and melt flesh with the power of their vocal chords? It must! I eagerly await the release of this game so I can throw one of these newfangled "sound waves" at an opponent in combat.

It's probably just a coincidence, but its interesting anyway.

It won't be that pelican, I don't think. The pilots died before the thing even "landed." There is no point in its descent or landing that a pilot would report back that they had "lost [their] bird!"

A nice thought, but there were dozens -- if not hundreds -- of pelicans in the sky during the massacre at Reach. Could've been any one of the marginal amount that got pegged by Seraphs during travel.

Maybe one of the Spartans had a pet bird, and it got killed during the fight. It'd be like having an eagle pet you could send out to attack the enemy! YEAH!

While I like the idea of a spartan owning a pet predatory bird of some sort, I don't think this is likely.

That bird would be turned into molten goop within seconds of its first flyby.
