Riiiight. If you rush through you will finish in exactly 3 hours and if you take you're time you'll finish in no longer than 5 hours.

Such an idiot...

wow dumbass, obviously you didn't take math beyond the 1st grade level. Its sad how you don't know its BETWEEN 3-5

and how!

that time frame was announced in the game informer exclusive, IGN exclusive, and gamesradar exclusive

Congratulations, we all know. The "play time" for a game is estimated at a casual gamer's "want to know how the game plays out but want to enjoy it as well" time frame.

That doesn't mean that rushing through it as fast as you can will be 3 hours and taking your time will be 5. If you wanted to, you could trek around the cityscape killing Covenant patrols and exploring with a friend for much longer than that without paying any attention to the flashback missions.

Believe it or not, some people enjoy games differently. The people that are just going to move straight from beacon to beacon to try and finish it and then be done aren't getting enough out of the game in my opinion.

exactly, it's an estimate

Way to contradict yourself Mittens and way to make yourself look like a dumbass Eliteman. Usually when someone starts off with "Riiiiiiight" they are showing painful amounts of sarcasm.

I've already read all of the halo books today you stupid nerd. Plus Halo:Fall of reach twice.

Why are people trying to justify the price to the OP?

Let's hope he doesn't get the game.

[sarcasm]After all $60 is overpriced so he's not going to buy it.[/sarcasm]

There is a huge demand for Halo so they can get away with 'overpricing'. I still think we're getting value for money though.

the enemies dont drop anything so there is no point
There isn't much ammo, so you'll need those guns and ammo.

yes maybe if you spend time looking at every building noticing every brick that has fallen, then your play time will excede 5 hours. the free roaming is useless. there are no side missions to find. maybe some sort of collectible to find like skulls or dog tags. but when the game comes out you will see that "free roaming" will be forgotten. there maybe a few extra enemies to find and shoot if u free roam, but its no rpg, the enemies dont drop anything so there is no point

Perhaps no point to you, but I know quite a few people who would disagree. Which is exactly what I said with the whole people enjoying games in different ways thing. You obviously need a lot of shiny objects and new toys to pick up everywhere, but many people enjoy just plain wandering around, enjoying the detail put in by the graphics team, finding easter eggs, and maybe finding ways to "get out of the map".

I see you like to read posts before you respond to them.

Whatever, have fun continuing your pointless babbling with the Eliteman or some of the other idiots posting on this thread. There is no point trying to reason with you.

C'mon now!!! What did you expect from the almighty M$!!! I can't wait for new Bungie IP so they can finally tell M$ to -blam!- off when they try and pull this shtuff again. And yes, they will do it all over with REACH (stoked!!!....about Reach not the whole coercive bussiness practices being applied)That is unless Bungie enjoys having it's tail wagged by M$......

if i were to spend time admiring a game for graphics halo would be one of the last places i would look. they can hardly be called functional

Once again, you pick out a single thing and ignore the rest.

haha that is the most pathetic excuse. i did respect you for giving a good argument with intelligent answers that made me question what i had said. until now. without roaming around there will be plenty of enemies u can mow down for money. when has ammo ever been a problem in halo?

Him? "Intelligent answers"? He was just spewing the same BS that you were, he had no arguments.

Speaking of "intelligent" responses, what the hell are you talking about with money there?

New IP not Halo IP. I think if Bungie really could they would have sided with "us" instead of "them".

Marine Corps.
Semper Fi.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

Posted by: Mr Mittensworth
halo 3 odst is a great deal at $60 if youve never played halo 3, or havent downloaded any of the new maps. ive boughten all the new maps an i feel ripped off paying that much for mostly just a bundle of old content. faithful fans should get some sort of special discount or somthing

What about access to Recon, an entirely new campaign filled with new features, characters, and storyline. Add into the mix the Firefight scene and a nice Theater mode with all of this?

No? Guess not.

Everything should be explained in your OP. This is how the forums work. And if you don't have room to explain it in one post, you direct the reader to the next post where information is stored.

Yes, I am teaching you forum etiquite (sp?). Get over it.

I been down that road my friend. Prepare to get flammed by many.
But I will tell you, Bungie has stated that when they make a new Map pack, the previous map pack will be free. So you basically pay to have it early, is all..
So then that means the Legendaries will be free soon...
