Yeh, I'm from the U.K to, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't pissed off, but first, I'd like to say be calm about it, sure it's a dissapointment, but it's not like their not going to sell the game here, just a skin for a character in Firefight.

And there might just be hope, I wasn't aloud to pre-order from Gamestation the other day because the guy told me "we don't have the codes yet". I don't usually pre-order things, the first and last thing I pre-ordered being Halo Wars, but I'm pretty sure their were no codes involved, so it's possible we might get it.

So to all my fellow U.K people, calm down, take a seat, be patient and have hope.

why do you assume everyone from the United Kingdom is so horribly offended at the prospect of not getting this item that they require someone to tell them to be patient and calm down?

i find that some what patronizing.

I'm not assuming the whole of the United kingdom is acting that way, I'm just talking to the people who are freaking out over it.

Also I don't mean to be patronising, sorry.

GENERATION 24:The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.

I have been staving off pre ordering for this reason. Sure, it's just an add-on, but it's an add-on i'd like to have. My guess is that it will turn up at GAME/gamestation eventually, if anywhere.

Lol yeh, i considered that at first but put it down as an over-reaction.
And Gamestation wont even let me pre-order anyway, not until they "Get the codes"

EDIT:
Also just remembered he told me to come back next month sometime to try pre-ordering again. Perhaps next month they'll have these "codes"

Well, for a start, us lot in the UK actually pay MORE than you guys in the US do, so yeah.

I would assume that this would be announced at a later date. If not, i'm somewhat annoyed. I won't be pre-ordering until Late-August anyway.

Erm, I'm kind of not in the US...
Also do we pay more? Last time I checked the price in £ of a game here is the equivelant of the price in $ to the game over there, but obviously different currency.

Yeah, I misread xianoa's post. My bad.

40.00 GBP = 65.8758 USD

The game retails for $60 in America. Yet the exchange rate shows that we pay $65 USD for it.

Try it.

That's ok because the pound is worth practically double the dollar and you guys aren't in nearly as a bad a recession as us, if at all.

Things aren't always perfectly fair in the world, that's why people still get killed over religion. Just suck it up. 65.8758 vs. 59.99 is less than 10%. Get over it

Are you serious? I'm not saying that everything is fine and dandy with America right now, but our country is down the toilet as well. We're trillions of pounds in debt, plus people are constaly losing their jobs every week.

I'm not going to turn this in to a "our recession is better than your recession" argument. But your comment was just completely false.

It's also worth noting that we get overpriced for everything here. Microsoft Points, Games, whatever. It all adds-up over time.

I do think that people need to chill out a bit over the whole Johnson thing. It'll probably be announced some time later. It seems unlikely that something as trivial as Sergeant Johnson would be exclusive to America.

Sergeant Johnson is a marketing tactic for MS to get people to pre-order the game. It would seem silly not to extend that to Europe. I just assume that MS are still working out deals with European retailers or something is all.

You're less unlucky than I am. Doesn't Amazon.com ship to the UK?

Ah,
But ordering from Amazon.com would only get us the NTST or whatever the kids call it these days version.
So,
On my PAL Xbox it wouldn't play.
I have had this problem before when I was in America brought a ton of PS2 games for half the price (before the recession) but when I got back, I of course couldn't play them unless I paid £50 for a special chip. =S
So I'm just watching Amazon Uk, They're looking into it.
So I'm just gonna wait and see.

Not to turn this into a who gets ripped off more contest, but paying $80 U.S down under. Although we've thankfully had the Johnson code confirmed, which is nice. Albeit not my regular game supplier, but meh.
