I've been thinking constantly about how we could really put ourselves in the universe. So that instead of hearing how"Oh wow <insert main character here> is such a badass." We would be saying that about our own creation in the universe. So you start up your newly bought Halo:Reach disk and click on multiplayer. You're put into an approximately two minute cinematic type thing. In this you see yourself being captured at the age six, and hearing the introduction into the SPARTAN program by Dr. Halsey of course. You see a brief look at your training, and a few other clips of some of the events the SPARTANs endured.

After the cinematic which of course you're able to skip, you're let loose into the online experience. You'll be given an in game service record that tracks your stats, weapon kills, and awards different different medals based on how you play.. Bungie makes these amazing stories, but how cool would it be if we could make our own place in their universe.

"Die? Didn't you know?...Spartans never die."

Certainly an interesting take on multiplayer.
