Anyone else think that would be pretty cool if the new Halo game was similar to Battlefield 2 for PC. With the whole class system and ect and also the 32 v 32 battles

No. This is not TF2.

It could potentially have the class system. If you look at the art above there's the 5 distinctive different varieties of Spartan. I'm not sure about the 32 v 32, Halo has always focused on the small battles. When you get a larger battle going it's a lot harder for one person to have the awesome experience of doing something amazing that wins the game for their team.

Personally, I know it's an FPS. I want Bungie to bring something fresh to the table to spice up the genre. I'm not sure exactly what that spice is, if I did it wouldn't make it the fresh amazing experience I want to get out of Reach. I don't want Battlefield, or Team Fortress. I want something that's original enough that I can say, "Wow, how did no one think of this before?"

If this game is a class-based First Person Shooter, than we have to give up on the idea of picking up weapons. Weapons kinda define your class, and in Halo people have, at least up until now, chosen their own class by choosing their own weapons.

I hope for a 64-person gameplay style. Everything else is stuff I don't mind. Change is good. Change for change's sake can be good. A bad change, even if it's a change, is still bad. Bungie simply needs to be careful about how they go about this, if they do make it class-based.

I'd be more interested in them changing the gameplay by making everything destructible; working into the game engine that sort of thing, since it could completely revamp how we go about our combat. Suddenly energy swords are used as shovels into enemy bases while Rockets scare the bejesus out of people and their precious cover; it'd become a whole other game that people would appreciate on a whole other level that way, too. But much harder to program.

Dunno what it'll end up being like. I hope it's awesome, though.

i hope its 100 vs 100. or something along those lines. huxly(closed beta now, and is stated it will be almost lag free) is going to be like that.

32 v 32 wouldn't happen because it would require servers. Servers cost monthly. We pay MS, not Bungie.

What about all the money that would be rolling in after thet release the game? And im pretty sure MS would chip in a few bucks to help out their most important developer.
