yeah, virtural pc is good, but it would be much easier just to buy halo MAC. it will use a whole lot less processer space, resulting in less lag, but is compleatly identical to halo PC (you can even play players who have PC's)

The emulators are for people who have macs and want to use PC software but still need Mac software and don't have/want a PC. If you can get the game for Mac, it will work better than getting the PC version and using an emulator.

Let's put it this way. I have Athlon XP 2200+ with 512 MB DDR and a Geforce 4 Ti4200. I ran a DOS emulator on my machine (Yeah like Windows 95 restart in DOS mode), and it runs slow and skips frames.

Arguably, macs are better than PCs for this kind of thing... but not that much better...

Yes, there is a program that runs windows under mac, but trust me, it's NOT any good for gaming. It's good for different tools, such as modding tools, and .rar expanders (although i have one that runs natively under OSX. PM with an email adress for it). Just get HPC for mac here , It'll run better.

On the other hand, you could build a PC if you REALLY feel like it, but if you wanna stick to mac software, just buy a powermac and upgrade it.

So in short, yes, there is a "windows emulator" (runs windows inside OSX), but it uses up so much processer time that it's not good for gaming.
