Should Bungie make a whole new system for the Heats maps on ODST, technically ODST will be more open world then ever for the Halo franchise, so it would be kind of cool to actually see the hotspots on the maps where squads or yourself are engaging the covenant.

I think this would somewhat help people play the style they want to, Stealthy and going to areas occupied by less enemies then taking em out quietly or going straight to the fight and go in Guns blazing.

no, no radar, it is all about new style and losing abilities to gain abilities

I'm going to invade your heart like a barn swallow high on milk chocolate and grandma love.

Fairness is only possible within the limited powers of man. Elsewhere, there is only chance.

Thus I refute thee.

Oh wait, I did read correctly. Yea, heat maps would be interesting. I would like to see how other people play.

No. If you see Covies in the distance, just avoid them, or gun them down. It's fine the way it is.

if knowledge is power and power corrupts, isn't knowledge therefore dangerous?

i never said radar, i said Heat Maps like the ones used for Halo 3s maps to show where the most action is going on

The heat map was also created just for H3 multiplayer. Although they could adapt it, it would make the game too easy for some people. For example, if there was a certain area where enemy troops ALWAYS spawned, everyone would learn about it through the heat map, taking away some of the fun of the game from the player.

The ambush waiting to happen would no longer be a surprise, and that may ruin some, or a lot of, aspects of the game.

That would ruin the fun. Plus, it's random-ish, so it'll be different for every player.

Heatmaps.

yes it might ruin the game for some, BUT technically once you beat the game you already know where the enemy is already any ways later on, Im not say thing should be implemented at launch but it would be a cool feature for ODST
