I think that there should be an option yo have ones own life pool instead of sharing one with your friends. Cause what if you have a freind whos alot of fun to play with or you would like to help him get an achivment but he is really bad a fire fight? I can understand why Bungie did this though. If not for the shared lives then one person may be out of lives when the other team mate has 5 left and doesnt die all that often. Meaning it will get very boring waiting around very fast.

But instead i think bungie should make it that instead of when your team lives hit 0 the game is over to when your team lives hit 0 you cant respawn and from that point when you die you have to wait for the rest of your team to die before the game ends.

You're only as strong as your weakest link. So tough luck.

Eat raw meat.
Punch a bear in the face.

If you don't know who I am, the feeling is mutual.

There's a tremendous problem with that. If your teammates are dicks and repeatedly murder you, you can't come back and smack them. If they do good, your waiting for a long time.

BTW it's 7 shared lives. Everyone doesn't get their own live set.

People keep telling me to get a life... I am getting an education, I have a lovely girlfriend and alot of friends... I thought this was having a life? Gues I was wrong...

Would be better if everyone just got 2 lives, after that, they had to wait til wave 15 to revive.

The whole idea of ODST is that you aren't a spartan anymore, you're an average guy who bleeds as much as the next chap and is gonna fail if he tries to take on entire squads alone. The shared life pool keeps this on, it encourages team play.

if knowledge is power and power corrupts, isn't knowledge therefore dangerous?
Black Tower

when the life pool hits zero, you don't lose.
when it hits zero and everyone dies, you lose.
the last guy gets to hear "Last Man Standing" though

I've already read all of the halo books today you stupid nerd. Plus Halo:Fall of reach twice.

Shared life is good it makes you use teamwork which seems to be essential in ODST.

I believe its 5 waves.
