Subject: MC (the future one) in Reach

H2 Forever

just throwing this out there to be completley bashed but...

at the end when the chief is seperated from Arbiter could he have time warped to Reach (during the time of Fall of Reach book)
knowing that this game was semi in production during the making of H3

and when i said MC i mean i mean The one from the future not the one from The book (john) since we all no he is gonna be in this one if it a true Fall of Reach game

H2 Forever

i read the books along time ago but isnt he already there?

actually i am 100% sure Master chief is already there on reach if this is a prequel which has been confirmed as a prequel so technically he cant come back if hes there so STFU and GTFO

thank you for the billionth time travel theory. It won't happen. Bungie has said that the master chief will not be in any more of their games. So unless they really go back on their word, which they usually don't, he won't be in the game.

This would be a good time to point out that the US Government seriously did consider nuking the moon during the Cold War as a show of force. Project A119.

"A large explosion on the Terminator line would put the sun behind the mushroom cloud, making the explosion visible with the naked eye from Earth."

Then the US decided they'd just send in Neil Armstrong to land on it. Neil Armstrong - the one man on the earth that was considered a suitable replacement for a nuclear missile.

so then in this case this games has nothing to do with the Book "The Fall of Reach"

since John 117 is in it and technically he is not "Master Chief" the whole time

You know, they said there would be no more Halo games once H3 was out and done with.

Now there are two more. But at the time, when they said that and we all saw the Chief be sent off to some random spot in space far from home, my first thought was, "Oh, they'll just poke him into a game that isnt called Halo, to finish off his epic winsomeness".

It still seems reasonable, but the time traveling theories have got to stop. Really. How many references to a mystery, half-beat-to-hell Spartan in armor that was upgraded beyond the current Mjolnir styles were there?

None.

Time travel has to be backed up at the BEGINNING of a story arc, and it wasnt. There's nothing there. So yes, it is with complete agreement to all other answering B.net users here in this thread, the answer to Chieftom time traveling is a definite no.

Actually, they said there would be no more games in the Halo trilogy. Halo ODST is a campaign extension, and Reach is a prequel, which doesn't really count as being part of the trilogy. Just think about The Lord of the Rings. The Hobbit isn't considered part of the trilogy. Same with Halo Reach. They also said that we have seen the end of Master Chief's role.

So, no matter how you look at this, Bungie has been completely true to their word.

Im going to laugh so hard if they do send chief back in time and all the over joyed little 5-10 and the occasional 35 year olds are right and dominate the forums for like a week then they subject them selves to too much fail and go back to playing banjo kazooie.
