Subject: We're still technically playing as a Spartan...

if knowledge is power and power corrupts, isn't knowledge therefore dangerous?

Bungie better put in a difficulty where it's a two shot kill and your "Stamina" takes awhile to heal for realism. I would greatly appreciate this to happen though it probably won't.

yea, we'd all like somthing that wount be added.
who knows, maybe just play legendary with mythic on.
i personally want to use drop pod doors as sheilds >__>

93% of statistics are lies. Formerly Xfire Grunt. Unfortunately, you can't change the WLID for your BNET account, so I had to create an alternate account. My other WLID was spam city (and it was my e-mail account too).

I haven't seen a modern shooter without regenerating health. The most realistic system is that you die in one critical shot and you "recover" on less damaging shots. This makes sense because modern armor can take 3-7 hits from bullets depending on the impact strength and angle. However, one shot in the head and your down. If you get shot in the arm it is probalby possible to recover if it is not a critical hit. If you take a sniper bullet to the center you are down, regardless of armor.

But nobody really wants to play a game like that on normal difficulty. I think normal difficulty is the "real" difficulty considering how BAMF the Spartans are in the books (and how they aren't so BAMF on Legendary especially in Halo 2/Halo:CE.

Self-proclaimed genius.
Roam the streets with a sign, "will love for false hope."

Except for the fact that you get to use more kickass guns, cannot dual wield, cannot use equipment but get a sweet VISR, cannot run as fast, and require medkits...

Yeah, totally the Master Chief. <.<

Bungie kept some things so that you're still able to survive as a pathetic human. This is still Halo. You know how much life would suck if every single Jackal you came across could headshot you? Think Halo 2 on Legendary. (shudders)

I think it works fine but it seems as though you can take A LOT of hits without losing that much stamina. It seems too easy.

I guess it is something added in the game to make it more easier?

Best sentence ever.

actually there are alot of games on the market that have this systyem, take too much damage and your health will deplete to a certian level before it will regenerate and the only way you can heal massive damge is through healing. I beilive metal gear solid 3 had a system like this. or similar. so your not a spartan cause solid snake wasnt, so your not a spartan. thenicly or otherwise

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

In case you missed the demos, the "stamina" is far weaker and much less resilient than the Spartan's shield technology. Consider it what little your suit actually does to ward off plasma, regardless of how canonical that may be.
