ok i have halo combat evolved but i cant see armor color on anything. not even on enemys on campaine or on multiplayer. do i need a different grafix card or could it be something else?

You have an integrated chip. You should get an actuall card. An Nvidia GeForce FX5500 is a cheap card that will run halo fairly well. You should check out the Buyers Guid To Graphic Cards.

i dwed the thing in ur sig but it wont let me play at all. it says i have an error with direct draw

I don't want to mess it up any more than it already is. You might try instaling the previous drivers again or do a system restore.

if you have windows xp pro, you can just do system restore. There's this other thing called "rollback driver" when you're in the device manager, but it seems a lot easier to just use system restore. There should be an automatic checkpoint before the drivers were installed.

just go to microsoft.com
and click on download
updates...
yeah... and it will install u r latest drivers...
and everything will.. be ok..

Get a graphics card...what's you budget like for one right now? I can probably figure out something that'll run Halo okay with actual textures.

Join the club. I'm perpetually borke. A card will help immensely, but if you can't get one, just do what Cougar said. Get the latest drivers for your Integrated, and hope for the best. That or call in the Geek Squad (Tech support group that does housecalls. at least in WI).
