Go Rams and Missouri!

Reach was destroyed in 2552.

End of discussion.

Could...this...be...a friggin...hint to...Halo...Reach...the...game?
They're both planets. Are there any more similarities?

No?

Edit: That isn't Reach. Bungie didn't put any signs of Halo: Reach into Halo 3 while Halo 3 was still in development. It's not Reach.

Reach never was fully destroyed, they just glassed part of it.

OP, to answer your question. Has reach been around since Halo 3? Erm... yes. Reach has been around for a while. It was the 2nd most important planet controlled by the UNSC.

I think he meant Halo: Reach, not the planet Reach, when he said that.

Wouldn't glassing make it improbable to see landmasses at all?

Not while they were making Halo 3! They started after, the planet is Earth, that's the whole purpose of Halo 3 defending Earth! Reach and Earth are the exact same type of planet, they look and are almost the same. It's Earth!
Edit: Read my post! IT is saying that NO it wasn't in development while Halo 3 was.

OMG!! What is Halo 3 about, Stopping Earth from being destroyed! Which is why they end up going to the Ark and stopping the Covenant and the Flood! That is why you see the stupid planet in the background. IT's Earth the main reason why the UNSC is still fighting the fight, Earth is the last main colony world! Reach and Earth are almost Identical. Bungie didn't put Reach in the extra disc for HALO 3. It is Earth.

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

Halo 3 was released in 2007. Halo: Reach is releasing in 2010. Considering it has taken roughly 3 years for each of their games that has required an entirely new engine, it is somewhat acceptable to assume that because Reach will have its own Multiplayer beta, that its multiplayer engine is significantly different than Halo 3's, which would also hint at the rest of the game engine being significantly different as well.

To me, it seems obvious that Reach has been in development since '07.

However, the whole bonus content planetoid mention was pretty pointless. If it was meant to tease at anything, it would have had more than just a shape.

Maybe if he is clear about what the hell he wants to ask, we will be clear enough as to tf he is asking and we can answer him.

Meh, who knows, and who cares. FoR came out before Halo 1 did, FS came out before Halo 2 did and GoO came out before Halo 3 did. In both books they mention Reach (especially FS which goes into detail as to what happened to a few Spartans on Reach)
