Caboose: "Oh my God!!!!! Andy!!! Your dead!!! You had so much to live for!!!! So much exploding to dooo!!!!"

Do you think Reach will follow the story line of the book Fall of Reach. It could be fun first meeting with Sam and Kelly, High-Jacking a Pelican drop-ship in a wintery forest. trying out the first real spartan armor? running away from Reach in the Pillar of Autumn and going in to deep freeze sleep.

About skipping school at Halo 3 launch day

I'm going to school because I plan on having a life...
Yeah, only nerds skip school. Oh wait...

It would be fun but I'd rather have a game without the training part since it would mean more focus on hardcore action!

Roadkill31495, the biggest -blam!- you'll ever meet

I would like for Halo:Reach to have a training mission because it would remind me of the game Republic Commando one of my favorite shooters.

I agree that was a great game!

Known by some, but not by all.
Soffish: Do not eat!
TWP Assistant Director.

The first training mission was ringing the bell at the top of the poll in which John finished first but didn't help Sam or Kelly. John didn't get to eat that night because he wasn't a team player. John learned his lesson and even though they didn't win the next day Chief Mendez let out a slight smirk of approval after they crossed the finish line. John, Sam and Kelly became friends at that moment.

Integrating this into the game would be easy...teamwork...then using one of the XBOX controllers buttons to get into the basket, then another button to pull the rope then another to ring the bell then another to let yourself and team down the pole, then run back to the finish line all in first person...too easy...as far as programming goes...for Bungie that is...

Honor. Respect. Loyalty.

Secondary Protocol

Yeah if Bungie makes you go through what John-117 and all the other Spartan candidates did, that would be a really cool 'level'.

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

I think that would suck. I don't want it to follow the entire The Fall of Reach. I would rather just play through the fall of the planet Reach, which takes place in Halo: First Strike.

as I'd rather experience the story then mindlessly shoot crap, I think it would be a good idea to have flashback training missions at certain points in the game.

-You look like you could suck a golf ball through a waterhose.

I hope they do, I think it should be just a side part though. Mandatory the first time you beat it then optional from then on, you know, maybe like a tutorial or something.

i think it would be pretty cool if at certain points he flashes back to when he learned how to do it. like the first time he saw covenant armor he flashes back to his jacking lesson. and then flashes back to reality. like at certain points. maybe he encounters a scarab. it flashes back to a lesson where they showed him the scarabs weaknesses
