Halo 1 & 2 for PC

i just bought this game and i installed it and all that stuff, but when i put the disk into the computer, it says HALO then it instantly crashes to desktop. i click on the icon again, then it crashes to desktop again. yes, i dl'ed the newest patch. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!!!?!?!?!

AHA, BUMPING IS NOT ILLEGAL, I knew it! Anywho, sounds like a bad install to me... Are you sure you didnt accidently move any crap around? Also, if you arent a neat freak (aka me) and dont have a folder for every little thing, I suggest installing Halo PC in the default destination it suggests. Anybody else? I got lucky when I installed Halo, everything works like butta (mmmmmmmmm butta)

I had this problem with WWII Fighters (heh). I got a better graphics card and it worked fine. Check to see if your graphics card is on the list of graphics cards for Halo on the microsoft website.

Perhaps there is a fault either with the CD or the applications contained within. You might want to try taking it back.

he has a radeon 9800 pro. i think hes okay
