I saw a thread a week or two ago saying about how the Rookie's initials were JD. Which you could tell this by seeing how all the other character's initial matched their names, save Dare.
Now I don't know if this was answered correctly but the JD most likely stands for John Doe. If my experience of watching NCIS is correct then John Doe is a term to name a military or Navy personnel who's name isn't known. The same thing goes with Jane Doe for female personnel. This also goes along with how YOU the player are suppose to be the Rookie.
If it was already answered then I apolgeize but since the thread didn't last that long a lot of you will find this info new. Feel free to discuss.

"The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced. The arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work instead of living on public assistance." -Marcus Tullius Cicero, 55 B.C.

John Doe and Jane Doe is used for anyone who's identity is unknown, not just the military. Also try not to believe everything you see on the NCIS or CSI shows. Alot of the things they do on the shows are fake, and don't work in the real world.
