No they didn't, halo 3 is almost 3 years old, its basically free for microsoft now, since they didnt want to sell halo 3 odst because it would be so cheap they might as well add halo 3 and all the multiplayer maps which cost nothing to them (excluding legendary and Mythic maps) and up the price
Yes, IT is. Halo 3: ODST took the same direction as the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack disc, except it has a brand new campaign, an extra game mode, three NEW maps, and gives players access to the Halo: Reach beta.
I hate repeating myself: ODST's content is optimized for those who do not have Halo 3 or do not have access to Xbox LIVE, or do not have any Halo 3 DLC.
ODST has enough content to warrant $60 for that market group. However, the value isn't the same for people who already have Halo 3 DLC. It;s unfortunate that you have to pay again for that content, but this is Microsoft's sure-fire way of getting their money's worth.They make it cost less, and they lose out on money and do not get their money's worth.
