no its not, its the damn same thing ok heres another example

Lets say Microsoft decides to include halo odst(just the game no extra content) as a "bonus" in Halo: Reach, and they set the price tag to $99, would that be fair to those who already bought Halo odst, To you guys im sure you would be happy to pay for it again right.

That is paying for two games. With ODST you are only paying for ODST.

No your wrong, you are also paying for Halo 3, if microsoft decided to sell halo 3 odst with halo 3 for free then they might as well sell there halo 3 game for free right.

How are you paying for Halo 3? you are talking in circles. I can understand the argument about Halo 3 multilayer, but that is different from Halo 3 itself.

Talk to the Bones

As amazing as it sound, you have to under stand that not every one owns a copy of halo 3.

If they are selling two games for $60 bucks, then thats a great deal. Maybe not as great as The Orange Box, but the only real game I play on that is Team Fortress 2. Maybe instead of just saying "NO YOUR WRONG!!!!", you should listen to other peoples points.

If Halo 3 ODST was only a campaign, then it would be $40. Add Halo 3 then you get another $40 considering it has gone through price reductions. Then add the Mythic Map Pack 2 for $10. Look, $90. Would you prefer they did that? Would you rather spend $90 or $60?

And considering that it has more maps than it originally came with.

Why do you treat everyone who disagrees with you like they are some mindless fanboy/girl? Hypothetical situations have no weight here. You aren't paying for the same thing. You get an extended campaign, a $10 map pack, an invite to the Halo: Reach beta, AND Halo 3's multiplayer in a $60 bundle. Don't like it? Tough. Don't buy it if you do not want it. The vast majority of us will play it. Now if Bungie pulled a Ghost Recon deal and offered old maps as new maps for like 800 point, then you would have a point.
Cause you are one....(O_0)

Look here, its a 3-5 hour campaign, yes its free roaming but what the hell are you going to do? huh nothing, the only thing you can do is explore thats all plus 1 multiplayer mdoe, Halo 3 ODST alone-$25, now the extras $20 for mythic and legendary maps plus $10 for halo 3 multiplayer. You are being ripped off money for things you already have.

And we aren't necessarily fanboys, you are just acting like a petulent child and are out of line asking a great developer to lower their prices for a select amount of people ,when we both know it won't happen, because some of their fans already have some of the content.

I'm not a fanboy. I just feel this is a great deal. Where do you figure that Halo 3: ODST is only $25? Did you not hear, from practically EVERYONE, that the campaign has been extended. Ergo, its longer than 3-5 hours. Maybe you just don't consider that everyone plays differently. I know shocking. So I bought all the maps. I won't really be able to play them when my Halo 3 disc sies like its going to. Should I just buy a new Halo 3 disc? For $40-$60 bucks in places? Halo 3: ODST offers a better deal. Don't act like you know everything when you obviously don't.

I'd prefer sitting here thank you very much.

Would you rather pay $30 for a game or $60 for the same game plus content you already have seriously you dont even have to think about it, but you guys i dont know........

Don't belittle us and talk down to us as if we are stupid and do not understand what we are getting. Yes, some of us have the halo 3 content already. Yes, we are still buying the game. No, we are not complaining about it because even though we get some of the same content, we also get enough new content to make it a great deal.

You might sound smarter if you could learn to spell and use grammar. I do not play "too much" halo and balance it out with large amounts of literature and academic activities. We are not falling for Microsoft's traps, we are buying it because we place a higher value on Bungie's work.

Think of it this way:
You have Two Worlds which retailed for 60 dollars. It had VERY limited multiplayer, but a potentially endless singleplayer that...well, was not very praiseworthy.
Then, you have ODST for the same price which comes with a very well done 3-5 hour campaign plus another very well done multiplayer mode that you can play for as long as you want. It also has a great PvP multiplayer mode which you normally have to buy another game for but is included here with more content than it originally included. If you already have that game, then this is a great chance to get extra content for it as well as a new, undamaged disc.

Which would you rather pay 60 dollars for? There are so many crappy games out there that makes me laugh when people complain about stuff like this.
