it might just be me, but it seems like xplay is hating on bungie and/or microsoft. They hardly ever have xbox 360 exclusives, and they rarely feature anything from microsoft. for example, i just finished watching xplay's e3 09 recap show, and odst wan't even a contender for best in show. what gives?

ODST isn't really a full game, and we had a REALLY -blam!-ING SWEET E3 this year.

Also, they didn't have many exclusives to the other consoles either.

Microsoft didn't have many exclusives on top of that PERIOD, so im satisfied with Mass Effect 2 being their killer app of the show.

i understand your point, but if its being sold at full price (no this is not a price complaint) than why isn't it treated like a full game?

Your friendly and eccentric Sangheili forum-poster. :)

Doesn't really matter that much. Besides... ODST is an expansion, and Reach's trailer was just a teaser. Don't get me wrong, ODST did have some really great stuff to show, but at the end of the day, it is after all just an expansion.

And just because it's not showing much from something, doesn't necessarily mean it is hating on something.

If I sold you a Expansion for 1000$, it doesn't change the fact that it is an expansion.

Because Microsoft are the only ones that treat it as a full game. Even Bungie don't treat ODST as a full game.

ODST was classified as an "expansion", and is not eligible for "Best in show". It should, and probably would, have been, or won best in show.

Perhaps because Halo 3's already made G4 Game of the Year?
Or perhaps because the majority of people prefer the bazillions of other awesome games presented at E3?
