50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

So my brother was playing halo 2 on my xbox 360 today and i got a disc read error. I tried cleaning the disc, which was almost scratch free, with eyeglass cleaner and it still wont load. What should i do as i dont want to buy another copy of Halo 2?

P.S. My 360 reads and starts halo 2 and runs multiplayer ok.

No company that uses terms like, head-to-head, man-on-man, action-sack, and mancannon is homophobic.
I supposed that teabagging is.... what, a representation of a new form of colonoscopy?

So you got a read error in the middle of playing the game?

No, it was when loading a campagin level, which was right after one of the play-as elite levels.

Damn that's strange. The only thing I can think of this that the 360 got too hot. I've never heard of a disc read error after the game starts fine.

my friend has the same problem with call of duty. you disc is scratched, but not enough to ruin the game. it just won't load certain parts.

This, or it could be a speck of something on your disk. Take your time and clean that disk like never before.
