If the story does follow Fall Of Reach even loosely it would be interesting if the training mission was like a flash back to when they were kids training for the spartan program.

I don't join any group that spams me in PM so don't try it.
SPAM applies to anything that is copy and pasted, it is very obvious when you do so don't say you wrote it. Also if you argue with me on the nature of things contained in this signature, you will be blocked and never removed. If you send to me in XBox live you will be Avoided, Blocked, and a complaint will be filed for harassment.

I don't see why it would be interesting to sit and do push-ups (Quick-time event anyone?) or to run around a building (I have to push this analog stick forward). Sitting at a rifle range. The only way they could do the "training" and not bore the hell out of the player is to sneak out and do things during training (like they did in Fall of Reach). But that is stupid.

Halo has never been about stealth. The training took up about 3/4 of the book if not more. All in all a game about it would be 50% quick-time events, 20% pushing an analog stick forward, 20% Sneaking, and 10% action.

So in my arrogantly blinded opinion this game can't follow Fall of Reach from Master Chief's perspective at the least.

They could use the one part of john and the other spartans taking down the pelican protectors as a way to show unification as the delta team and to show how john rose up and became the leader. But they probably wont its not a game about the chief.

You havent thought of running an obstical cours or any of those things. It could be some short thing just to get the aiming down. And it could be some running and timing -blam!- i dunno.
