Subject: What will be the twist?

There has to be some big twist in the game that ties into MC, frankly what would be the point of this game if it didn't. No offense but I don't really care about some ODSTs that got separated and have to find each other. Really it doesn't make sense. They drop, the cov jump to Slipspace and they get knocked off course. There has to be something bigger.

seh looks like a alen anyway

It all involves Dare. Dare, Dare, Dare...

BTW, No MC whatsoever.

There has been speculation that Dare will betray the rest of the squad. For now that is all it is. Speculation and theories.

I understand that MC wont be in this game but I just think it will tie into Halo 3. I don't think there's real proof that Dare did anything. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Why does it have to involve the Chief?
This game was based on a whole universe. Not about Master Chief. He just happened to be the main character of the first three games.

OK, then you figure out what the point of this game is. If this game is just about an ODST trying to find his squad and figure out what happened then I will be very disappointed. But Bungie wouldn't do that. There is always a bigger picture. Plus this is HALO: 3 ODST not Halo: ODST. So obviously it has to tie into Halo 3 and most likely has to do with MC.

EDIT: I don't mean you will play as MC, or you will see MC, I'm just saying that it could possibly reveal the fate of MC some how. They have to do it eventually. Eventually they will at some point reveal what happened to him.

It's possible.
It's also possible that ODST will continue on through an extended period of time beyond that of looking for clues and you end during the events of Halo 3, about the time the Flood show up and the continent gets glassed.
It doesn't have to be about Master Chief.
Staton, in his E3 interview talked about it not dealing with him, so I'm going to lean towards, it has nothing to do with him.

Probably right on that. Its just that sounds boring.

The twist is that you are hallucinating, and all the Covenant soldiers you kill are actually UNSC.

Well, the Rookie confronts Dare, who admits that she had killed the squad by sending them on suicide missions. Dare raises her pistol and the Rookie raises his SMG, but then Steve Urkel comes in and accidentally presses the nuclear self destruct button. Then all of New Mombasa is wiped out in the blink of an eye. Hence, why New Mombasa is a wasteland when Master Chief arrives in Halo 3.

Death to rank junkies.

Screw the Chief. He's been in all the games. It's time for something new.
