Now, Mister.... er "pens win teh Cup" I've sat here and read all your arguments and counter-arguments and it seems as though the reason you don't think ODST will be ay good or rather, "worth it", is due to the $60 USD price tag. (Correct me if I'm wrong). Well, lets just step back for a moment and look at what the little bombshell has in it , hm? Well first off it s a two disc set.
Disc one:
ODST Campaign: After viewing a gameplay trailer via Xbox live and a short playthrough video on IGN (I think) which also posted on bungie.net; It looks like this is going to be a nice lengthy open-world (for the most part) campaign that calls back to Halo:CE in many ways, no doubt it will be more entertaining than halo 3's campaign (Although that wouldn't take much).
FireFight: A new mode of play that will be very awesome. Horde mode a la Gears 2+Halo:CE+Halo 3+Sean Connery= YES.
Halo: Reach Multiplayer Beta: nearly crapped myself when i found out that this disc will contain a demo of Bungie's next Halo game which isn't slated for release for nearly a year after this one. Though it is my understanding that it won't actually be available immediately after release (Correct me if I'm wrong)
Disc Two:
Halo 3 Multiplayer Mode: this means you can get rid of your trashy halo 3 disc, provided you have all the campaign achievements and have beaten the campaign on legendary. Huzzah!
Every Halo 3 Multiplayer Map you could have Downloaded up until now: Plus the final 3 Announced maps that have not yet been released (Heretic,Citadel, and Longshore)
If anyone took the time e\to read my wall of text then you now know that ODST will be well worth its price....... assuming it doesn't suck. Thanks for reading.
