What does NATAL mean for Reach? if it NATAL is out by then, will the game become like the time crisis series in arcades, or will we be told to run on the spot in order to move forward?

the idea of crouching, holding various guns and things such as this sounds like good fun, but the movement aspect worries me. I don't want the Halo franchise to be ruined thanks to a stupid system.

feel free to share your views here.

I for one think it would be very cool to be able to shoot and aim with this system. Basically like the Wii shooter except not so lame. Basic movements would be coo but no walking.

This is a little off topic but it would be cool to see a squad based game from Bungie, or any other brand, that allows you to use NATAL and make hand signal commands to control your squad. Also voice command like in Tom Clancy: End War would be cool. If Halo: Reach is a squad based game then voice control would be very cool.

i completely agree, its just that I dont know how the movement would work. giving commands and stuff, or a visor screen where you can receive incoming messages would be great, but how can you move around, short of moving from the room?

Motion controls do not appeal to me in the slightest.

When I play a game, I want to unwind, not jump around the living room like a loonatic.

and how!

Natal is not a finished product, and it doesn't even have a hint of a planned release date.

Halo: Reach already has a set release timeline.

Reach will not use Natal. End.

True, I think it should be optional because sometimes when I play Wii its kinda awkward with my parents around (I'm 15 so yes I still live with my parents).

I think it will be interesting how NATAL will work. Because it is coming from MS I think it will turn out to be a piece of crap.

Sorry OP, but this is my verdict too.

NATAL support will be limited to tea bagging until developers get a real grasp of how to make it work right.

lol if thats the way you role, dont be sorry about it. if you play better the old-school way thats fine by me, just dont buy it =D

i know there's a lot of people that dont want NALTA at all, probably the same people that dont like the Wii.

between you and me, I would really love to be a spartan. and if NALTA can get me that bit closer, I would pay for it.

if its terrible, then I would scorn it until they make one that works.

Facts:
Halo: Reach has been in production since Halo 3's Release.
Microsofts developer & partners (including Bungie) started using Natal around the time of this years E3.

Question:
You really think that 2 years into development they change the way the game works?

Also Natal will be used for casual games mainly and if in hardcore games than at a maximum for dialogues in videogames (like the boy lionhead created), even though the dialogue think sure doesn't work as well as peter molyneux wants it to.

Do you really think Microsoft is going to risk ruining Halo: Reach by making it basically the first or one of the first FPS games that use Natal. NO. Plus that would ruin Halo.

I think the worst time to have a heart attack is during a game of charades...or a game of fake heart attackPosted by: octoarmtron

::kryll eat me::

Who said that Natal would be mandatory to play the game??? You guys are taking it to seriously. Controllers will still be an option.
