Subject: Forged Crater (Night) Play Test *UPDATED* Times included

Just recently (meaning Yesterday) I was making a map based on Crater (Night) just because I was bored and XBL was offline. So I was just wondering if anyone could help me test play this once I am done. I still have to finish the enemy spawns and the ODST spawns w/ the armory and the walls around the entire map.

I will also have a gametype set up to go with the map.
So PM me if you are willing to help me test play it because I won't back on BNet for a while.

Also, if there are any Bungie members looking at this, could you tell me how accurate it is?

Two makes there more than speakers.

I wish I could play but my Xbox is broken. Maybe you should make some things a bit bigger and harder to get out of the map. Great job though.
Edit: Could you take more pictures. I'd love to see more of this map. (Since I can't play it.)

It looks accurate, but easy to get out of.

You need a gametype which effectively makes you an ODST.

What you could have to improve this map is two Phantoms in the air, and have one team spawn in them and jump off it and into the battlefield.

I haven't worked on the gametype much but from what I've gotten so far I'm pretty sure it will be very similar to the actual game.

And about the "Easy to get out of" thing, I still haven't worked on the perimeter wall yet and I have less than $200 left on Budget...but don't worry, I'll find a way to make it work.

Hey guys, right now I'm pretty much done with the map but I couldn't add in extra stuff because I've reached the object limit and left with about $20 in Budget.
Gametype is also finished and I need more People to help test it.

I will Update this thread with Screenshots soon.

ODST general player settings could be no shields, 110% damage resistance

And is the game type going to be like firefight, if so would infection be an appropiate start? maybe 3 lives for each survivor (ODST), play against 8 respawning forced purple players (to be covenenant) and get a point for every one killed until you die..

You're pretty close.

the Gametype is Alpha Zombie
At start there are 2 AZombies that are gold (brutes) and they carry brute shots
all the other zombies are purple and have needlers (might change) and spikers (drops from the sky
the game is basically about endurance, the less humans there are, the tougher the fight

aww, you should have put it in the crypt with blue lights, that way the lighting is better (or darkening as the case may be)

The map won't fit in the Crypt, I tried the first time then had to start over on the outside.
Technically, the map is about 90% done but because I reached the Object limit and had about $10 left on budget, I had to make the best of it and it turned out alright.

May I give you some advice? Do not use an infection gametype...
If I was creating the game type...
I'd use territories

Map set up:
You simply have one territory that covers the whole map and all the spawns...

Traits:
Have the game type be one sided territories with the covenant forces as the defenders and the ODST as the attackers and change the traits as according...
This way allows the different teams to have their own individual traits and allows for the ODSTs to be allowed more than one life each...
For the map, I'd have a constant spawning of human weapons on the ODSTs side... and timed spawns on the covenant side so that it seems they have sort of the wave feeling.
Also have the covenant spawn outside the territory and have their traits for pick up weapons "on" outside the territory but not inside so that the covenant can't pick up human weapons and have the ODSTs set to pick up at any time.

For the scoring:
Have no round time limit
Even number rounds so that each team plays covie and ODST at equal amounts
Have unlimited score limit...
Have overall score count as the team scoring
Have the defender kills count as nothing while attackers count as one point each
The covenant (defenders) will have unlimited lives, the ODSTs (attackers) will have limited lives...

The round ends when the ODSTs lose their last player's last life
At the end of the game look at the individual scores and the team scores.. compare then brag or cry...

Optional Tip: have the ODSTs set to have invulneralbility to head shots...
