Now, firstly allow me to say that I am not familiar with Reach. I'm yet to read any of the Halo novels, and all I know is what was in the Halo: Reach trailer.
So, something I was a little disappointed with in Halo 3 was the lack of a true ice mission. Bear with me.
For one map only, Bungie made a new skin for every human vehicle (although the transport Hornet does appear in Sandbox). This made me wish there was a campaign level dedicated to these skins. They've already proven to us that they can do it, so I really hope we'll see one in Reach.
The style of it would be one such as taking back a UNSC base in the icey regions of Reach, as it holds a key to escaping or holding back the Covenant. You would trek across ice caps, with the "snow Warthogs", during a blizzard, to remain invisible to the Covenant. Vehicle handling would be affected by the ice, and the player would have a special MJOLNIR "Snow camo" power suit.
I don't know, it sounded cool to me. What do you think?
