I think it would be awesome, flying around like the elites in H2 and the brutes in H3. Sure they should make hard to shoot, like when you riding a hornet.

Would it be a feature everyone starts out with, or do you have to find it on the battlefield?

I think the Brute Jump Packs would work in multiplayer as equipment for custom games. The Elite version was made for space and wouldn't be fair in multiplayer.

Definitely not, it would be the cheapest thing out there. You could just grab the sniper, then get to the highest point on the map.

oO( Underdogg13 )Oo

No, because then there would be noobs flying around al over the place with rocket launchers and other dominating weapons.

I dont think you could make a game any more cheap. This idea is what goes in to games that no one plays. Sorry to piss on your fire mate, but no. Beyond ridiculous. In my opinion this sort of thing attracts a much younger audience. "wow guys you can fly..." Older, mature players want to play a proper game.

“To say more would spoil be it’s overall its a game that needs to be played.” - Aristotle

Jetpacks would just be unnecessarily... out there. Halo isn't about individual units flying around all over the place. It would be an unnecessary and unwanted change of game style.

Yes. It should be a piece of equipment but with limited fuel that can regenerate back over time. I would not recommend having it in matchmaking though. The only problem I see is that on outdoor maps you will hit you head on the roof of the skybox, which will feel weird. maybe there could be an altitude limit on it or something. I think it would be a neat thing for infection and other non-competitive custom games.

I say the same about dual wielding...

I would rather they add in Brute Jump Packs (the distance they lift us could be cut in half) than dual wielding. Both gimmicks, Jump Packs just wouldn't break the sandbox. If they had it it could be placed on the map like a power weapon; only one, and it would only have a certain number of jumps.
