To play or not to play....

Thank you for that. I for one found it very interesting. I was waiting for someone to analyse the planet in the Halo ending. That symbol more or less shows it is a Forerunner world. Hmmm might be the thing that was in the center of the Ark after all.

People keep making time travel threads.
So, therefore, this needs to be bumped.

Lol. Let people get disappointed. They'll probably come up with some lame plot device like the explosions revealed hidden forerunner symbols on the dead planet or something. Which wouldn't make sense with any other theories seeing how this takes place during Reach, and not long after Reach was long abandoned. Making all these time theories pointless for this specific game. Did Master Chief appear near a dead Reach months after the war? Did he go back in time and find a Forerunner planet that just happens to be Reach in the future? Who the hell knows?

All these theories are pointless. They remove some fun ideas from Bungie's list of plot since they don't want to be predictable. Just like how the Ark went from a place on Earth to a portal to the actual Ark. Sadly, all these theories do is cause disappointment for the sheep who believed in these theories in the first place.
